JOST Brasil is opening a new manufacturing plant in Campinas (SP), on this Wednesday, June 1st. The site is over 3.5 thousand m2 and around BRL 11 million was invested to expand the company’s capacity and to develop new products. JOST Brasil is intending to use this to increase its portfolio, by investing in components for buses, as well as parts for trucks and trailers, for which the company has already established a leading position in the market.
“Our presence in Campinas is an important milestone in the company’s development and will contribute to our sustainable growth. The unit has a strategic location, close to customers and suppliers. It will further improve our customer service and help us develop new solutions”, confirmed the Director of JOST Brasil, Alessandro Barbosa.
The unit is part of an Industrial Park in the Paulista city. It will be supported by RTS Industry, a Robotization and Automation unit, belonging to Empresas Randon, which will help it to develop modern processes for soldering and assembling components. In addition, JOST Brasil will also work together with the Randon Technology Center (CTR) and the global engineering team at JOST Werke to develop new products that can strengthen the company’s portfolio.
The Executive Board of Empresas Randon, the Executive Committee of the company and of JOST Werke, as well as partners and local municipal and state authorities will be attending the opening of the new unit of JOST Brasil in Campinas.
